All was well except that the ceramic coating i had paid for was not applied and only when i queried this a few days later was it found to be the case after some investigating. An apology was received and remedy actioned.

I've bought cars from other top brands, I felt the occasion could have been made more special. Other brands make it more of an event I.e. covering the car with branded covers taking photos for the social media, woman receive flowers or champagne etc.

I would have given 5 stars but we arrived at centre and due to a private reg we were not told about potential recall issue so could not drive home. However, Lee reacted very well (completely not his fault) and gave us £300 as compensation

Only issue was was told 10.30am collection. But customer before was running behind so we had a longer wait. But made to feel at ease. Cuppies and biscuits provided. And hubby liked it as motorbike show room was upstairs so he had a good view of that.

Overall experience was good. I was however a little annoyed at the way my rubber matts were cleaned after servicing was complete. The bottom of my matts where dirty and then put back on my light coloured carpet floor matts which became dirty/stained.

When you phone the dealer to approve work or to ask when the car might be ready to collect, you cannot get through to anyone. The phone just rings. This has been going on for years at BMW Dundee. I know other owners who say the same thing.

After droppingoff for service I spoke with sales agent re exchanging for new similar car. Took over an hour to get quote. He was back and forward to his office with his computer. In hindsight I could have done the same thing in 2 or 3 mins on line.

Car was booked in for an 8.00am appointment but hadnt moved by 11am. Then advised parts wouldnt be in that day - I suggested that had it been looked at when it was supposed to be then they might have.

Very happy with the work carried out. The only reason I did not score a 5 was due to the long waiting time when picking the car up and then I had to return a week later to have the milage counter set correctly for the next service. Overall very happy
