The Motorbike section has been fantastic to deal with over a 15 year period. There has been one or two issues but always resolved. The car section has been disappointing on more than this occasion.

Car failed it's MOT, due to a tyre. I'd have expected to be given an opportunity to change the tyre prior to a fail certificate. As it turns out the tyre was not in stock, and when replaced the test certificate was issued at no further charge ??

Customer service not as good as at be grassicks in Perth. Always had the car vale red previously at the garage at Perth. Not so here.
Craig and Liam fitted me in at short notice, and the work was carried out on schdule and to my liking.

In the best of all possible worlds it would be preferable if parts were held on site, or at least available on the day. Having to book the car in twice is inconvenient.

While in for an alloy repair, I asked for the coolant level to be checked (known issue on M140). When I picked up the car, told level ok, but on 28th Feb had to call out BMW assist for low coolant, so dont believe it was checked! Dissappointing tbh!

Their Warranty Manager did not make it clear from the onset that I would have to pay a contribution towards replacing the rather than fixing the wheel.

Service desk - Craig / Leanne(?) and young Liam are very good at working with peoples characters and (lack of) understanding of car mechanics to explain issues and translate them into solutions and timescales.

Was a nice surprise to find my car had been valeted.
I was looked after very well.
Poor communication / planning, wasting time / resources. Required BMW 'enhancement' work not carried out efficiently, so car not running properly. Additional work on brake discs identified in a quote checked by another dealer as unnecessary.
Car was ready by lunchtime,and had received video of service
The garage kept me informed and the lady dealing with my booking kept me informed throughout the day on the issues with my brakes which was resolved under warranty.

The service I received from John Clark BMW Tayside was excellent, from the booking in of my car, to the timescale, the quality of workmanship and the very comprehensive video of my cars repairs.
It the easiest experience Ive had from booking to drop off to pick up and feedback. The team that work at John Clark Dundee really make you feel special and valued as a customer.

My reasons are, I have never felt any reluctance to call for help with the car or attend the showroom. And have never had an unpleasant experience in all the 25 years or so having driven BMW Cars.

After leaving the garage the brakes were screeching but thought it would settle down. So I will need to return tohave them sorted.

As above, everyone was very helpful from arranging a loan car to keeping me abreast of what was happening.
Extreme efficiency from Craig who was dealing with my car, phone reminder the day before, minimum of paperwork, no waiting around to be seen, in and out very quickly.
Took slightly longer to carry out brake fluid change than I was told. I don't like hanging around.
Kerb damage noted on offside rear wheel during health check. Whilst I cannot say for sure it wasn't there when I dropped the car off at the dealership I can say that it wasn't there the previous weekend. 14000 miles with no damage...
The John Clark representative, parts advisor Nic Green is a tremendous ambassador for John Clark and BMW who collects my car and ensures that my requirements are met. He is very professional in the service that he provides.
A bit on the expensive side for a straight forward service
Car returned after service with full valet completed
It took less time than originally esgimated yet I was allowed to keep the courtesy car provided as it would have been difficult for me to have returned the car at rush hour that evening as I live out with dundee.Again receptionist was excellent.

Car ready as promised. Picked up from inside the showroom! All new cars should come with a full tank of fuel! That would make it 5 star experience rather than 4.75!
Any queries and requests were promptly answered and dealt with.
The customer service was excellent the salesman Stephen was always there to help with queries and my number plate transfer.
Excellent sercice from the team in the dealerahip. The car was delivered damaged, however the sales manager made me aware and took steps to enable this to be fixed.
